Love this school I went from 2008-2015 I'm in middle school now .If your child needs a elementary school P.S172 is the right choice.I had the best 7 years I'm now successful in middle school they have the best of the best.

I think it is a great school. The teacher's care about the students the know each one by name and needs. The principal alway has time to talk to students and parents even if he is stopped outside the school. He always walks around the school yard at dismissal. Mrs Hendrickson is always watching the children if it's in the hallway,classroom,or around the school. Any problems she will deal with it big or small. My granddaughters have been going to 172 for 5yrs now. And I love the way it is run. Congratulations too the whole staff
