Best school in the area.

This is a good school and good for your kids

I whent to this school from k to 6th grade it was awesome but I've been hearing the school has been hiring bad teachers and disinterested what it used to be a good school

My children have been going to this school since pre-k,and i have to say this is one great school.they have learned alot and if they needed additional help,it was always available to them.

My son went to PS153 since kindergarten. I wish I could say that my son learned a great deal there yet the truth is just the opposite. He already learned all about A-Z and numbers 1-100 during Pre-K(at some day care center) yet he almost had no knowledge of anything when he finished kindergarten. The teachers there didn't care about his progress (or regress in my case) or even his well-being (once my son came home with glasses half broken and one of the lens gone yet the teacher didn't even notice). The only reason my son's still going to this school is that we have no choice since our house is around the corner and we can't afford to move to a better school district.
