If I could leave "LESS THAN HALF A STAR" I would. My 1st grade child has continuously been sent home with NO BOOK/S !!! Not even a copy of class work reading material is sent home for my child to read for homework.I have to improvise with other ideas in order give my child reading lessons/homework. I have REPEATEDLY asked for information for the location where the teachers buy their/her books in order to personally purchase them and prepare my child for the weekly homework log material. NO ONE CAN HELP!!
The MATH HOMEWORK is pathetically and redundantly atrocious. A single "LEGAL SIZED" sheet page is TOTALLY wasted. Can anyone imagine how the city/school can put "A TOTAL SUM" of 7-9 math questions (4 on the front, 5 on the back) on ONE SHEET!?? Barnes and noble books have 25 -40 questions on each side!! I WOULD NOT SEND MY WORST ENEMY TO THIS SCHOOL!!! IT IS A SET UP FOR FAILURE!! I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THIS SCHOOL IS PREPARING OUR BRONX CHILDREN FOR "THE PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX!!! BEHOLD..BE WARNED!
