This place tries to mimic the big league underground Techno clubs, like Berghain.. but fails.
The selection is really bad, any douchbag can get in.
The entrance fee is expensive, Why? I really don't know.

Went to the club last night. Got out of the club for a second to smoke a cigarette. On the way back in, the bouncer doesnt let me back in. They tell me i got 86'd. I didnt understand. I tried to let him explain to me what i did wrong, he didnt have an answer. After asking him many times, he told me that the bouncer inside saw me being violent on my way out. I tried to get the inside bouncer to talk to me, to explain what i did wrong, but he wouldnt get out to talk to me. I had left my jacket inside at the coat check and the card was with a girlfriend inside. Tried calling her, she wouldnt answer. Tried calling other friends they wouldnt answer. So i was stuck outside in the icy cold with just a t-shirt and no idea why i was not being let back in. I didnt have money to take a cab and leave nor did i have the keys of the appartment to leave (its my second day in ny and i am staying at my sister's). I stayed outside for approximately an hour and a half. Got so cold i actualy cried and punched the wall. Bled a bit from the bruise on my hand. Tried to convince the bouncer again to let me get my jacket, he told me he was gonna let me back in but just wanted to clean my hand first. So we went in together, he got a medical kit cleaned my hand but then told me he couldnt let me back in. Luckily my sister called me by that time and i met back with her and the others outside. This was the shittiest clubing experience i had in my life. If you want to 86 someone make sure he does something wrong first. I hope no one ever gets treated the way i got treated. Totaly unprofessional, at the limit inhuman. Will never set foot there again.

Output oversells tickets for the shows on top of charging out the ass. They bring decent talent, but the lack of door selection means that any bridge-and-tunnel, smug douchebag can take up space on the dance-floor. Their bars are understaffed. The sound-system is dope.

Output is often compared to Berghain in Berlin and Fabric in London, but to be honest, it doesn't hold a candle to any of the major clubs in Europe. Go here if you must, otherwise check out the warehouse parties if you want good vibes on the dance-floor.

Best sound system in the city. A diverse set of Djs come through and the party doesn't grt good until 1 am. Avoid the hassle by buying tickets beforehand.

Amazing sound system, professional secuirty, friendly staff/bartenders, plenty of room to dance and venture, amazing rooftop bar with a nice view of the city, and a wonderful vibe all around. The only thing that might be an issue with some people is the price of drinks as they are a little steep. Definitely my favorite club in NY...puts Verboten to shame ;)
