Outback Steakhouse

Being a franchise, I didn't have high expectations for the quality there. The staff was just average and the food was okay. Nothing interesting or notable about it.

My family and I have been going to this outback since it opened... and we are always please with it!

We go every time our favorite waiter is there and he really takes care of us with excellent service!

Our food is always fresh and delicious... maybe it is because we know what to order? But we always find the food tasty and appeasing, and priced reasonably.

I have found other Outbacks too salty... this one seems to have a happy medium. And we always order stuff not exactly the way the menu describes (due to food allergies and illness) and they always accommodate us graciously.

We really have a great night out whenever we come... MY aunt comes here literally twice or more a week since she hardly cooks... it is her favorite...

However the worst thing the outback chain ever did was take Key Lime Pie off their menu! WHYYYYY???? It was the best!

Food was good atmosphere was OK but what got me really Blah about outback in bay plaza was the fact that it being my wife's birthday 12-12-15 I had asked one of the waitress's if that can sing happy bday and bring out a desert with a candle her response was we don't do that here. I felt jipped it wasn't like I asked her to lick the floor . Hey I get it its the holiday season it isn't easy but it helps to deliver great customer service when you want that tip.

Its a huge shame bc my family and I are fans of the Outback chain. The food is delicious (hence the 1 star). Unfortunately, it goes to show that service is everything! Especially when you are in a SERVICE industry! We went to Outback for my Mother's Birthday dinner last night (11/23/15) and what was to be a joyous occasion turned bitter when we were greeted by our waiter. He was extremely extremely rude and had no sense of serving his customers. It was like he almost forgot what his job was. My Father asked if we can have some bread, to which his response was (in a snotty, sarcastic tone) if we wanted the bread cold, and that it will come out when its ready! We immediately got turned off from him. During our meal , he did not ask whether we needed anything or if we were ok. Neither did we care to ask bc we didnt want to have to deal with some snide response! My sisters fiance asked if we can have BBQ sauce, his response was 'can you wait until i put the food down first.' THAT IS IN NO WAY HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS - PEOPLE WHO ARE PAYING FOR A SERVICE! This Outback location needs to invest more time in training your waiters on how to speak and treat people. If they are unable to manage their attitudes , then perhaps they are in the wrong profession. I wish i knew the waiters name bc i most definitely would have called him out. I was fuming and trying so hard not to show it and ruin my Mother's Birthday that i didnt even bother to pay attention to his name. We are so pissed about this experience (although we did leave a tip, which was NOT deserved) that I might even call and speak to a Manager and/or even reach out to Corporate. As I mentioned, its a shame bc the food was great.....but the waiters need to go! It was horrible.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GET RID OF THESE RUDE WAITERS, especially if you want to continue having customers.

The service her can be either spot on, or way off. To hopefully you'll get a server that knows what their doing, or cares about their tables. But, at least you know you'll always get quality food, and a great price! Their steaks are awesome, as is their selection of alcoholic beverages!
