While looking into schools for our daughter, we were told O.L.A. was blue ribbon. Not only do we feel Villa Maria Academy has a much better curriculum, there are other inadequacies at O.L.A., like bullying. the faculty, whether it be lunch attendants, teachers or even the principal either don't know how to deal with it or outright refuse to be involved.we have gotten this information from several families. This is not the environment we feel would provide the best academic experience for our daughter and chose not to send her to this school and instead drive further from our home to a different school.

I was a graduate class of '97 I do admit this school doesn't give you a break when it comes to homework make back is thanking me 13yrs later but I do agree this school is advanced when it comes to subjects here esp math going to herbert h. Lehman high school wasn't up to pare with what I learned in o.l.a. I do miss my home away from home and my graduating class
