Owner is rude, invasive, and clueless. If you don't speak japanese then don't expect a warm welcome. The bathroom was clogged to the point that a potterpotty had more class. Everyone had to suck it up that it won't flush and pile their business onto the last person. You might as well put an out of order sign however, the owner decides to ignore despite many complaints. The store is not organized, you would think it's a messy storage space.
Bad wine.
Now, let me get to the worst part. Their poor dog. This dog is in need of some serious help. They have a dog in the art gallery as their mascot. She small, frail, and looks like her life is about to end at any moment. My heart ached everytime I had seen this dog. I'm pretty sure she is sick. The owner informed me that despite living in the same building as the gallery, the dog NEVER leaves the gallery. Not even for walks. Therefore, during galleries this dog is thrown into a crowd of strangers that can easily stomp on her by accident. She is less then 10lbs! Since she is not taken on walks, you better watch your feet when looking at art. The dog poops and pees anywhere and everywhere.

The small but cozy gallery is a hidden gem in the midst of condos in Downtown BK. It showcases artwork by contemporary Japanese artists without all the pretentiousness of a large gallery space. Almost every nook and cranny of the space is used, including a corner that sells cute Asian novelty items. Although I wasn't particularly impressed by the exhibit I saw, I can see their annual 100 Artists exhibit drawing bigger crowds and making it more robust experience. If you're lucky, you'll also get a chance to play with the cute dog prancing around the gallery.
