OMG !!!! Why did I not look at this place reviews first. Damn myself for going to a spot like this. The guy behind the sushi bar, i think he is the owner all he kept saying is SAKI want more saki you make good baby. What the hell RUDE. then came the sushi just like the reviewer stated rotten fish, I sent it back he said " fish good ". I said I am not eating that I have had sushi before and it never tasted like that, it smelled funny. He said ok i make something for you and I said no thanks I lost my appetite and I left. thank goodness i did i think I would have been sick.

BEWARE!!!! If you go to this place. I sat there and ate and wanted to THROW UP AFTER. The cloth that they use to clean down the grill top (where the food is cooked on) THE CLOTH IS DISGUSTINGLY ... DIRTY AND DISCOLORED REAL FUNKY LOOKING. They use this one cloth over and over and over and over. I am sure that this cloth as well as other areas in that place has so many different bacterias. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT WILL HAVE A FIELDS DAY HERE FOR SURE.

I was in the area and did a quick search for local sushi. Osaka "Japanese Steakhouse" came up on Google and displayed a rating of 4.4. Not sure if the establishment is rating themselves under false accounts, but 4.4 is an outrageous rating given my experience. We ordered a sushi deluxe, 2 California roles, and a crab roll. The food was sour and inedible. Calling to complain was not an option as I will NEVER dine there again. I DO plan to follow up with the Nassau County dept of health, on the other hand.

Osaka is the only place I go to for sushi not only is yoshi a sushi master his family his so sweet and caring they watched me grow up and have a family of my own it is also the gratest most freshest food I ever had
