Original Number One

Stay away from this place. The steamed chicken was disgusting. Idk what they put in it but it was horrendous. On top of that the delivery driver was an hour and a half late and was very rude.

I love the express; however they do need more options. Also, the wings R never fresh. You always have to get a separate order.

I wish there was an option for giving no stars, because honestly, the place is unsanitary. I ordered my food, got home and ate it and found a dead bug ( I thought it was a burnt fried onion, an so I ate that too) and I was so nauseous and disgusted after I realized what it was. Then I took the food back and tried to explain what was in my food and they almost didn't give me my money back. The whole process was just very upsetting.

The place has gone down. We order from a different location now. Too many problems, from the food being mediocre, to them not getting the orders right, to them delivering your food late and then something is missing, to dealing with rude people, and yes the manager does make excuses for them each and every time, he has changed. I've gone there for years. I go to the Number One in West Orange, the people are very nice there, and the food is good too. It's a smaller place, but at least you don't have the problems you get at the Number One in Bloomfield. I think it's a shame, used to be a good place to go.
