If there was an option to give negative rating i will choose to give it a -10. This small business in fords has no respect to customer service. I hate the fact that harbor town forcefully has tenants negotiate cable and satellite TV through this businesses. I personally going through trouble with Alex tv because of monthly charges of $8.96. this is allegedly for maintenance fee which is total bull! I don't even have service for any cable or satellite TV! If you live in harbor town, make sure to not give any debit or credit info because they will charge the card even after you cancel service!!! that one thing they wont tell you.! GINA, the customer rep, will dodge your calls to prevent you from removing any info to their system! I had to cancel my debit and have my bank issue me a new one to just stop the chargers! To have this resolve I think all who live in Harbor Town to petition this business agreement they have with Alex TV. PLUS when you do want service here in Harbor Town , the complex itself charges $100.00 to install cable and satellite tv!!! In other words if you can stray from moving to Harbor town in perth amboy the better for you but if it is you only choice i suggest buying a over the air antenna you will save money!

It is unfortunate to have to be forced to use their service. Their company is the only one used by our complex to handle our network provider. They have the worst customer service experience and relations. They are rude on the phone and will find any way to charge a fee. After having to move to another apartment in our complex just three months after moving, they charged a $200+ moving fee (for new wiring, because wires are very expensive, supposedly). When I had looked at the job they did, I was mortified. They left the old wiring from the previous tenants who had lived there for over fifteen years. It is dirty and unsightly. I called to complain and never received a call back. No wires were replaced and they wouldn't sync any of our equipment. We did much of the work ourselves in both apartments. They also started charging a monthly $8.00+ fee each month for "future" service issues. It is not in my contract, it is a "new thing they do now". I am unhappy with their service and am glad they are only needed temporarily.

Took TV to Alex's about 1.5 months ago. Called multiple times to hear the following..."Part not in...part in...nope...wrong part in, now in. Wait...nope...my bad...not in yet." We basically got the runaround. I do have to share my favorite excuse which was communicated through his most articulate receptionist..."Oh, Alex is ON the toilet now but he'll call you back." I am trying to convince myself that comment was worth the $95.00 it cost me to diagnose the TV problem. Nah, I'd rather have my TV but that's apparently not happening. On a positive note, I do have to say that Alex was also extremely eager to dispose of my 42" Flat Panel TV for me. What a guy! TV fixers..BEWARE! While he was not successful in fixing my TV, he did make an effort to impress this lady with his TV talk that makes no sense to anyone but him, especially when he's talking about converter boards. Oh boy. The guy is lucky he can stick an actual plug in an outlet.

Alex is the most RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL SELFISH LYING BUSINESSMAN I have ever met. We took our tv to be fixed. After weeks of waiting, we called and they said they ordered a part for it. Then it took 2 months and we decided to go get our tv without it being fixed. When we got there THEY HAD LOST THE TV STAND AND POWER CORD and a blanket we had used to cover the tv when we dropped it off at their store (we heard an employee asking another abou the blanket that was in the trash). They claimed another customer had taken our tv stand so we went home without our tv. A week later when we went to pick it up, Alex was very rude when trying to resolve the matter of the lost items claiming we did not bring the tv stand or cord. Even the receptionists were rude and arguing with us. THEY KEPT OUR DEPOSIT, GAVE US A TV STAND & POWER CORD THAT WAS NOT ORIGINALLY OURS AND WERE SO RUDE THAT WE LEFT THE STORE ARGUING STILL. Do NOT, do NOT go to this business unless you want a rise in blood pressure + loss of ur money. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!

Hilltop associate appartment in edison NJ forces me to go through these Alex TV. Not sure the story behind this??? i called hilltop apartments they said i don't have any other option other than Alex TV. Last year 2009 I end up in calling Alex TV for Dish Network installation without any deals.
Last week i called dish network for cancellation, they said my service is canceled and i have no other dues.
Alex TV people called me today and asked me to pay $500 as i have disconnected before 2year. I paid heavy money to Dish Network for this disconnection. Not sure why Alex is asking me more $500??? I am going to sue these guys.
If anybody faced this similar situation please share!!!
