One World Observatory was a terrific experience for my whole family. We visit New York City every summer and have seen many other towers and have been in many other cafes and restaurants but One World Observatory was the best experience so far. We had a dinner on a 101st floor while watching the breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Staff members were very nice and accommodating. We were especially lucky to have Frank as our server, he gave us explicit answers and good suggestions regarding a menu. We are all desert lovers in our family, we ordered a peach cake which was authentically delicious, a real mouthwatering bliss and absolutely my family's favorite!!! I'd totally recommend visiting this wonderful place to everyone, One World Observatory is New York's one of the best sightseeing!

Dont even think of waiting your time going there. As a vegan I ordered pasta specifically without cheess letting the waiter now ahead. Then was given it with the cheese with is unacceptable as lactose intolerant. Nevertheless he took it away only to bring back the same portion (somebody tried to pick out the cheese) with some chunks still left at the bottom. After all was given a 'complimentary' dressert as apology with more dairy in it. This is ridiculous, people working in food industry have no clue about what they're doing here. Finally after having paid full amount the waiter runs after Us because we 'haven't paid the full amount' only to discover that he's mistaken.

It took me by surprise that the food and the drink named "The lower Eastside " were excellent. The staff was great, attentive but not overly so, just right. Will try to post a pic.

Imagine yourself being served at 102nd floor. Food (Bar Steak) was very good and wine as well. Friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed being there.

The expectation is very different from reality, the food is disgusting and not worth the money.

The overall look and feel compared to the website, is a very mid budget Airport Lounge, very awkward and like you are a guest at a friend of a friend's intimate event.

Firstly, it's is an arduous affair getting to the restaurant. If you like us, are visiting the restaurant as the main attraction, you want a nice easy experience getting there. That doesn't matter here, you have to be part of the tourist flow and feel like you are being treated like you are wearing a fanny pack, I love NY shirt and carrying DSLR. Even when you tell the staff "I just want to go straight to the restaurant".

That being said, when you sit down in the restaurant the view is mindblowing, and Stefano C our server was amazing, he really went above and beyond and is an asset to this place.

We ordered a beer, a cocktail and the crispy pork as a starter, a great way to start our lunch. We then ordered the Salmon and the Pasta as main courses. We had to send it, the Salmon was stinky, chewy and the Pasta was just very bland, even though both were presented well.

Neither tasted like it should for the price tag, we've dined in some top restaurants in New York and nobody should pay these prices for this level of food.

After sending the food back, we chose to get more crispy pork instead and another round of drinks, then finished with the chocolate creme brule and two espressos.

All I can say is visit the restaurant, get a drink a starter, and a desert. Nothing more. The menu has a confusing cuisine, isn't really good and is pricy. Spend money on c=Caffe Storico, ABC kitchen or somewhere along those lines.

Would give this 0 out of 5.
