One-Stop Career Center

Been there 4 times. Terrible staff. No one cares and they show it willingly. The front desk is atrocious, they sit back relax, cackle cackle loudly, eating bags of chips chomping away while there talking to you with crumbs on the corner of there mouth. There pretty obnoxious people who dont deserve the jobs that there not doing in the first place. This place is not interested in helping anyone. Only go dwn there for unemployment. Thats it. Not for assistance in getting employment.

this dont make no sense here it is mr.murray placed me in a activity at essex county college where i herd it was an electrical fire and no one form his office or him self emailed me text or called me to let me know when essex county college will be open but if i miss cuz i dont know im penalized for not returning why and i didnt know when to return thats crazy

I liked nothing about my experience here. I missed the start of the school cemester bc they kept brushing me off and telling me to come back another time instead of listening thoroughly to my issue. Mind you, I called in advance in an attempt to prevent their incompetence from detering me but I was told to come on down with my 1 year old child just so they can waste my time. But considering that this the same treatment I reieved 3 years prior and the same people seem to be employed there I just think it's strategic & the government/people in charge are pleased with this outcome so that us poor minorities with no silver spoon and challenges in this life never become suuccesful.

What a terrible experience! Went for orientation, had my 1yr old (in stroller) & 6yr old w/me. Lady said, if baby is loud I'm going to have to ask you to leave. My baby started talking loudly saying hi! Lady asked if I can leave my kids in the hallway...there's a security guard out there... I said I'll take my paperwork in the hallway. She came in the hall and said someone will bring me down stairs to do my orientation privately. Guy came, we went downstairs to his cubical... I sat down and my happy baby said Hi! He rolled his eyes and said "This has got to stop"... She said Hi again and he rolled his eyes again and said this has got to stop again...(she's not crying or screaming mind you; she's only saying hi to him). I said she's a baby what do you expect?? He rudely said, "pick her up or something..." I can't believe people... My picking her up is not going to stop her from talking... She wasn't crying... The only great person there was the Asian guy at the front desk.
