The food was delicious and I love a live pianist. I recommend the beef wellington. Also, I very much appreciate commitment to a theme and this place was packed with all sorts of Hamilton and Burr memorabilia. Unfortunately, we got one of the worst tables in the house even though it didn't appear to be that busy, so I spent the night staring at the bright screen on the POS system as the staff typed in orders.

I went on a Sunday night, August 7th 2016. It was a very special occasion. The food was good but the staff was very rude. It almost felt like I was bothering them just by being there. Even though the Duck and Beef Wellington was delicious, I will never go back to this place again. If you are celebrating a special occasion, try to find another restaurant. Don't give this one your business.

If you know what good cooking is, then take a closer look at the reviews. What many people say is true - it is romantic, it is pretty, soft piano music trills through the air - but the food, pshaw, they are resting on ancient laurels. Come for the atmosphere, order a cocktail, but for the love of all things culinary do not actually order any food. Two years later I still shudder at the thought of the desultory appetizer I was proffered: a foie gras with crunchy oatmeal and a smear of orange conserve. What is foie gras? It is ambrosia, i.e. food of the gods. What is oatmeal? It goes in a horse's feed bag. One does not mix the two together. A cardinal sin.
