I used to love this place... wow, it really went down... terrible food... service, ok.

Not a big fan of food but good customer service

Up until last week it was great
It is a five star restaurant but if the manager is not on site the staff doesn’t care and service goes down

They like their fried avocados: fries and stuffed - what a great idea! innovative and standard Mexican themed menu. We visit once a year when we are in the neighborhood.

Well we got there and it was a nice atmosphere in a nicely populated area of North Jersey. The manager made his way from table to table to ask how everyone was doing but of all the tables, decided to skip our table. I am not sure if it is because we are Muslim and my wife wears the headscarf but we were definitely the only table he "passed". Now the food was good- portions a bit small but tasty and speedy. At the very end of the meal though, our server asked my wife "are you done with your plate?" and she said "almost" but he grabbed it anyway. I am not sure if he heard her or not but she was still visibly eating right out of it and her mouth was still chewing. On the other hand, my plate had been done for 10 minutes and he never even touched my plate to take it away even as we were leaving. I am not sure if they were just trying to get us out as the place was beginning to get a bit busy. Overall, food was delicious and the atmosphere was great but the service and management leaves a bit to be desired.
