Office Depot

I've made three different online orders for in store pickup with this location. All three orders were cancelled because the item was out of stock even though it said online that it was in stock. By the time they realized their mistake the promotion was over and I was not able to order the item from another store at the discounted price. Do not trust the stock that it shows online for this location, these guys have no idea how to track inventory.

I entered the store this evening with my daughter and her friend. They needed a label maker and I needed ink for my printer. We shopped for about 20 minutes. There was a very nice and helpful (tall) gentleman who assisted with the selection of the label maker and the additional cartridge.

As we were finishing up with our selection, my daughter noticed the folders for 1 cent. We walked over and read the sign. I told them to pick out 10 folders each. While we were selecting folders, a manager (Sharon) came over and told us we could not get all of those folders and how we had to leave some for other families. I, first, asked her why she was assuming both girls belonged to me. She continued to say that we only could get 10 folders because that is what the sign says (as if I could not read it myself). Then she quickly walked away. I was taken back at how she handled that situation.

Not to take away from my wonderful shopping experience up to that point, we continued to select our folders and proceeded to the check out line. Once we approached the cashier, she notified us that "Sharon" was talking to her, through her ear piece, at the same time telling her we could not get 20 folders because it was one per household. I asked the cashier to please call her to the front. When she approached, I first nicely asked her for her business card. She obliged. I then asked her to explain, again, why I could not completed my $147.00 purchase and allow my daughter and her friend to get these folders? I was going to split the purchase in order to meet the minimum required ($5). She then abruptly stated in front of the young girls... " Look, you can make your purchase, but you are ONLY going to get 10 folders! One per household! That's it! and she will NOT split this order up for YOU!"

There was a short line behind me and they witnessed the entire, humiliating situation. She, again, quickly turned around and walked away. It was very unprofessional for her to speak to me in the manner she chose every single time.

YOU LOST a customer over 10 cents and Sharon's RUDENESS!

We immediately got in the car and went to Staples. They matched your prices and even allowed me to use YOUR coupon at their store! They apologized for the RUDE manager at another store! that belonged to another company WOW!

I hope your store, and especially Sharon reviews what GREAT customer service is all about and not have any other customer experience what I did. I will be canceling my rewards membership with your company. I am done and Staples now have a loyal customer!

Great office store

I've been several times because it's the closest office store, and every time it's been under-staffed which means slow lines and poor service. I've used the print shop 3 times and they've only once been able to print what I needed correctly. The staff seems incompetent in this regard and always overworked.
