ODC offers an exceptional quality of dance and choreography with the finest training around because of their talented and dedicated staff! Tracy Platt, owner and director is committed to each and every student, she encourages and inspires them to do their best and to never give up! "Great dancers are not born, they are made" and ODC continues to show that on a daily basis! Recently, ODC's own Megz Alfonso made it to the top 6 of "So You Think You Can Dance " and two dancers of the Junior Team were personally invited to audition for "Dance Moms"! They offer a family friendly and professional atmosphere where any child will thrive! ODC continues to make dreams come true!

So, I have two daughters (10 and 13) my oldest started dancing in Queens when she was 2, then we moved to Long Island. We tried a different dance studio in L.I until we were told so many good things about ODC and the new owner (Tracy Platt) at the time. Well, fast forward 9 incredible years. The choreography and dance education they receive here is amazing! In fact so amazing that they both won tittle last year at competition. If you're looking for a dance studio for your child I would highly recommend ODC!!!

ODC is not just a dance studio but it is a family. The teachers are amazing and I live for the show in June every year, it’s like a Broadway show! My oldest daughter has danced here for 10 years and my younger daughter for 4 years.
Growing up in the studio helped my older daughter become a confident young woman, and she always thought of it as a safe place where she can release all her daily stress. The younger one has made such great friends with not just her age but all the kids. Age doesn’t matter at ODC, the older kids take the younger kids under their wings and help them and protect them like they are one big family! The students are all incredible kids and I am so happy that we have spent so much time with such quality people.

Love the talented teachers, I can't regret the choice I made by choosing this dance school, the experience for my girl and us, the parents; is great. So happy my daughter is being part of this.

I absolutely love Tracy and Oceanside Dance Center. The technique and skill level of these dancers cannot be matched anywhere else in our area. The fact that my daughter gets to be apart of her wonderful shows is an opportunity that I am so glad she is able to experience. Thank you Tracy!
