This is the best catering hall I've ever been to. It's creatively decorated, spacious and beautiful. The staff is a pleasure to deal with. I was impressed with the strong even planning skills and the whole organization in general.

I was not personally effected by the poor management and sudden policy changes set forth by this venue during the Triton festival, however many of my friends and acquaintances were. I spent most of the 3 day period working at a merchandise stand, leaving only to use the bathroom or dance for a short period of time. Unlike others, I did not arrive at the venue early planning to stay for 11 hours, since I was working in shifts. When I heard that they were not allowing starving patrons to leave for food, or worse - bring food inside, I was outraged. Plus, there weren't any ATMs inside the venue. The merchandise stand I was working at could only accept cash, and there were many people that had their hearts set on a cool pair of industrial goggles, but lacked the cash. Plus, what if someone wanted to get a drink - or even needed water?! The bar certainly was unwilling to give out cups of tap water to thirsty people that had run out of money. Then the management decided to add an age policy to what had previously been announced as an all ages event, limiting access to teenagers who may have wanted purchase single day tickets, or forcing some that had already paid to accept refunds and not be allowed inside. This is completely unacceptable for such a large, expensive, 3 day event.

The bouncers and actual management of the venue were the ones enforcing the no-re entry policy which I thought was complete bollocks. There is no ATM inside the venue ( how do they expect people to buy drinks from the bar if they have no money). On top of that a lot of us were starving during the festival. Me and my friend were about to get into a round about with the bouncer until he was removed. Luckily the bouncer let a few of us out to access the ATM and get some food. Triton music festival was run well by the hosts. Oceana Hall's bar attendants and bar care takers did an absolutely good job..Nobody was allowed backstage without a pass as far as I know . I really hope there is another Triton Festival hopefully at better run venue.

My wife and I rented the Oceana Hall for our wedding. We went through a few catering halls before we found the Oceana Hall. The venue is Beautiful. We were surprised to find such a gorgeous place is in Brooklyn. We had a party of 700 people. The food was awesome and the staff was great. The managing staff are very friendly and easy to deal with. We are also planning to have our one year anniversary there. I highly recommend the Oceana Hall for any type of events.

We recently rented Oceana Hall for a wedding. The place is huge, You can fit in thousand people easy. The wedding turned out beautiful. We dealt directly with the owner if had any questions or wanted to get some extra service.
He was polite and courteous. I recommend Oceana Hall For all large parties.
