Occasions Banquet and Catering Hall

I attended an event here and had a blast. What a great space. The food and service were spectacular. I am recommending occasions to the board of the charity I work with to have our annual event here. The location could not be more convenient.

This is the best place ever!! I threw my husband a 50th Birthday with Harlem Renaissance theme and left everything up to them to do as far as food, decor, DJ, everything. All I had to do was pay and show up. lol The theme was so gorgeous, it you took back to that era. I mean it was just decorated great. The food was great and plenty. The staff was so cute and professional. My guests loved everything about the place. DJ was off the hook. I would definitely throw my functions here again. Well, what are you waiting for? Call them. I went to a fundraiser for my old community back home. The place was not to my liking but I overloooked it just to have fun with my friends and family.

I got there a tad early and proceeded to go inside just to use the bathroom and was told very rudely by the manager that I could not use the bathroom as the doors opened at 11pm and I could not enter the premises until then. I had to locate the nearest restaurant more than a mile away to relieve myself.

Upon entering the building for the event, walking down the stairs the scent was disgusting and there was no way I was going on that tiny elevator. The floors were sticky and the ambiance gets a D. Except for the photographer there almost all the Occassions people we came across was very rude and disgusting. I advised my old community that if they keep the event here again I will not be attending!!! Reasonable cost but then I guess this is the price for crappy, low life, ghetto!!!!
