Cho is no ordinary masseuse - she clearly comes with deep experience of all different body needs. She really listens to you and your body and creates and adjusts the massage accordingly. One of the best massages I have had, particularly because I felt it was perfectly tailored for me.

Updated 7/2016:
Cho the masseuse is fantastic. Had several pre- natal massages with her and was always extroidinary. My husband had a few regular massages as well and same experience!
Dimitri for acupuncture is also exceptional. He gave my mother who was in town a few treatments to recover from chemo. He also is researching an equal plac for her to attend in Colorado to continue treatments.
He gave me some post natal acupuncture for a nerve pain and was extremely helpful and great recovery for me to get moving again.
So happy with oak point!!

I found Oak Point through word of mouth at my CrossFit box. I had grown used to my shoulder just being in constant pain and feeling unbalanced. Dimitri over the course of 4 months has used various healing methods on my shoulder. We have done acupuncture (Traditional and with electric stem), cupping, taping (posture correction) and massage. Each session I could feel my shoulder getting better, gaining balance and proper alignment. He got a new device that helps him with massage. It is an automatic - massager (excuse my ignorance in the technical term for it) - after a few weeks with this, my shoulder finally let go and I have had zero pain since. I can feel the difference in my shoulder as it is free and has all of its proper mobility.
Just this past weekend I ran the Brooklyn Half marathon. I had never run this distance before so I was concerned with my recovery time. Oak Point has this glorious device called "the recovery boot" and I honestly would try anything to be able to help along recovery. I scheduled it for a few hours after my race. I had to take a cab over because I was having trouble walking. I was zipped up from toe to glute and the air compression and decompression began in a cycle for 45 minutes. The theory is the compression help flush the lactic acid out of the legs. I can say that I was 100% less sore and I walked 15 mins home. The next day I was back at 98%, which to me proves it works, as I should have been very sore for at least several day, I even ran a mile the next day. Oak point is truly a gem in the neighborhood and you should check them out. They are kind, professional and truly are a gift!
Be well!

Been going to Dimitri for acupuncture for 2 years now. In 3 sessions, he fixed the residual pain and scar tissue from my healed torn hamstring. In 1 session each, he fixed the pain and swelling in my thumb, and did the same for my knee after overuse injuries, AND taught me exercises and self-massage practices to keep those joints in peak condition. Then in the last year, he cured my debilitating year-round allergies that had finally led to a 6-month sinus infection. I have also received the best massages of my life here. These people are fantastic.
