I used mini movers for a move about a year ago, and had a fairly pleasant experience at a great price, so I did not hesitate to use them again when I moved a few weeks ago...apparently, it really depends on who shows up to do your move, because these guys were THE. WORST.
I have a lot of words to say about them, but I'll keep it brief:
1> They showed up over an hour late.
2> They demanded payment before the job was done, and one guy actually threatened to leave will the rest of my things until I paid. I don't like getting a shake down in the process of obtaining services, but I went ahead and paid because I just wanted to get the day over with.
3> They unpacked a bit more, and THEN THEY JUST LEFT. WITH SOME OF MY STUFF.
I called the company when I realized my stuff was missing, and whomever I talked to was extremely rude and dismissive. I called again on Monday, hoping to get a supervisor or manager on the phone, and they didn't answer...all day.
Save yourself the misery and trip to the police station and DON'T USE MINI MOVERS.
