Amazing teacher!! I tried out several different driving schools before this and failed at my first attempt to get my license. I only took two lessons with Anthony and passed the road test! His instructions are clear and easy to follow. I would recommend him to anyone trying to get their license.

Serge, as for your review:
I always try to be patient with my students and also interested in giving right knowledge to them. But on a 4th lesson Vicky was scared, she didn’t pay attention to my remarks and instructions, it was really dangerous to drive with her that day. She also told me that her father – Serge gave her car to practice and she had an accident – crashed bumper. So, since than she is scary. On her 5th lesson she behaved the same way an on a 4th lesson. That is why I spoke with her and said if she drive the same way again and again it’s better to stop practicing with us and get refund.
Late evening before the 6th lesson she gave me a call and told that want to reschedule this lesson for another day because of the family problems. But as for our policy it was late to reschedule the lesson. She had to give a notice at least 24 hours before the lesson. Now we can consider that she took six lessons, but we were ready to reschedule that lesson. Next day her father gave me a call and canceled all the scheduled lessons. At that time I understood that they want to have refund.
As for the 5 hrs pre-licensing certificate, due to my health condition (had surgery) I don’t feel myself good enough to provide such lection. Last one we had was in the beginning of January. As soon as we understood that have no chances to provide this pre–licensing course at the middle of January, we returned to Vicky money for this 5 hrs class and advised her to go to another school but I definitely didn’t offer her to do only paperwork or to go to cafeteria.
Due to the refund policy, Vicky had 5 lessons from 8 in a package. It means she took 5 single lessons with us - $45.00 each. At the day we spoke with Serge, father of Vicky (evening between 5 and 6 pm) I had an appointment with doctor, that is way I was in harry, but Serge didn’t want to listen to me, he was not agree with the amount of money we offered to him, and was sitting and waiting to receive amount of money he wanted (half price of the package). That is why I asked him polite to live our office several times and told that we cannot offer him more money, but he keep sitting at the office (I had an appointment with doctor). So, I had no choice as only try to guide him toward the entrance. I definitely didn’t hurt him and didn’t even know that he called the police. That is why I can say that we don’t intend to hide from anyone.
I apologize about such situation, but we have our school rules and have to follow them.

Yes, we spoke with you yesterday at the office.
We were ready to give you our car for your Road Test which is scheduled in Red Hook next Friday - January 22nd, but we also told you that the most preferable Road Test area for us is Seaview. While your visit we even checked with instructor over the phone the possibility to provide you with the car for the Road Test in Red Hook. And we were ready to do it.
We do pick up and drop off service ( as long as the customer doesn't live too far away from our location). Because it's not reasonable for instructor to spend more than 20 minutes just for pick up service. You were advised to come a bit closer to our location if you want to have lessons with us. But it's for you to decide what you want.

We have paid package of 9 driving lessons + road test + 5 hr required safety lecture for my daughter in NYC CDL Auto Club Inc. The single driving instructor and the owner of the auto school is the same person, his name is Anatoliy Shcherbinskiy.
The first driving lesson was good, but beginning from the second lesson my daughter start to complain instructor is screaming at her. We were trying to convince her to keep it because of she is a beginner, instructor may nervous, and it is just few lessons. But on the 4-th lesson instructor has said to my daughter there will be no actual safety lecture and he will do only lecture certificate. We cannot accept this, especially we have told them from the beginning we would like to get REAL lecture, not just a paper. I am not even talking the falsification of the safety lesson certificate is a serious violation. On the next, 5-th lesson, instructor has return money for the lecture and commented to my daughter she would lie to us and they could go to the cafeteria for that money… After that my daughter has refused to take classes from him and we, parents, have agreed with her. A have asked the refund in accordance with refund policy printed on their receipt, proportionally to not-taken classes. I wasn’t asking any extra money, although, on my opinion I could, such as we cancel lessons not by our wish, but because of rude and extremely un-professional behavior of instructor and business owner. But I had been offered to get less refund, not matching their refund policy. Anatoliy (the owner and driving instructor) has rudely refused to explain me why the way he counted the refund amount is not matching to the printed refund policy on their receipt. I have not agreed on the less refund, and during the conflict Anatoliy has grab me by the jacket, after that I have to call police. Anatoliy has cowardly escaped, turned off the light in the office and forced the secretary girl to leave through the back fire-door.
The worst service I have ever seen in USA during 15+ years.
Anatoliy Shcherbinskiy, the owner and driving instructor, is rude liar, not able to keep his own business obligations. I am planning to fail complain about him and his business to the DMV and Better Business Bureau.
Strongly recommend to NOT have any deals with him and his auto school.

Good job Mr. Anthony! You are a brilliant instructor. First time driving in my life, got six days training and passed the road test in first test. Enjoyed while taking classes and learned a lot from driving expert. I would 100% recommend to those who plan for their first road test.

Great and highly professional service. Anthony is the great talented person and instructor . This was my first time driving and was so nervous and slow but Anthony teaches me so good that today i passed my test on first try :):) very happy and 100% RECOMMENDING.. Because without Anthony help this was never going to be done .. Thank you Anthony . thumbs UP
