If it was possible to present this facility with zero stars I would bestow it immediately. Unfortunately, I'm forced to leave a one star rating which is rather generous.
I had a medical emergency and stated this upon booking my appointment. The representative was helpful enough to squeeze me in due to the nature of my case. Apparently booking times aren't respected at this medical office for clients. First off the receptionist forgot to hand me my paperwork after already waiting fifteen minutes. I was then informed I wouldn't be seen for several hours, though I made a booking and arrived on time. The reason for the delay, they're still learning to navigate using a new computer system( this wasn't explained as eloquently) which is why there's a delay. Twenty to thirty minutes is a delay, two or more hours is unacceptable and a blatant disregard to patients time.
I find it to be rather jarring that the staff isn't trained adequately, nor prepared in situations such as this.
If there were any kinks perhaps it should have been addressed prior to accepting patients, that clearly the facility isn't equipped to handle. For their lack of preparation the patient is left to suffer, which is an insult to all.
I recommend finding a more suitable, professional facility rather than NY vision group that will actually be attentive and not wait upwards to three hours to be seen.
