i lovr this place! I've been taking my shih tzu there since he was 1 year old. manager is awsome and lovz the groomer!

The reason why I give this place 2 instead of 1 is because I'm only 99% sure my dog came back from being groomed here with FLEAS. I brought her in for a basic package and a few days after, I noticed that she was scratching furiously. After closer inspection, she indeed had an infestation of fleas. I spent the last few nights trimming her hair down and brushing through to find the little buggers. I gave her a thorough bath with flea killing shampoo and found several more fleas floating around. I can't sleep knowing my poor girl is unable to sleep herself because of all the itchiness. It's been over a week and I'm still dealing with this nightmare. I hope to God she didn't contract any diseases from these things.

Was in the area with my pup at 10am and after leaving another boutique that I had a bad experience with, I was in need of an appointment within the hour. Luckily it was early, but NY Puppy Club was able to squeeze me in for a cut and I got there within 20 minutes.

Upon first walking in, I had an instant positive impression: there was light music playing, the front of the store had ample supplies, treat, and toys to purchase, the employees were bright pink polo shirts and are friendly, there are closed-circuit televisions of the Day-Care and barber sections in the back, and most importantly - It smelled nice!

Staff was super friendly, and they took my dog on the faith that the vet would fax his information in later, because even though there is a day care, they kept my dog separate because they didn't have his health information. Since they did that to me, I assume they did it for others, and that was a good sign.

I showed them a picture of how I wanted my dog to look and they got it exactly right. Also, there were no nicks or blood marks from nails that were trimmed too short and my dog was in good spirits when I came back after running some errands that took about an hour and half.

The Day Care has two rooms where the dogs are allowed to co-mingle, and they take care to group the dogs based on personality and how they interact with other dogs. It's periodically cleaned for poop and other accidents, and the employees even told me that on days when pups come in for cuts, they can throw in same-day Day Care at a reduced price.

This review has definitely went on longer than I expected, but I fell in love with this place and I'll definitely be seeing them again.
