I came here for physical therapy to relieve pain in my Thoracic Spine. After 3 visits it seemed to be getting worse. At that point I was told "we can try a few more times but looks like we will have to refer you to Pain Management" (I'm 33 years old and a new dad, this is not a good option for me. It seems like that would be giving up on the healing process). At this point I asked to have Dr. Piazza call me to review this decision. I then proceeded to come 2 more times and still no pain relief (actually worse) and every time I came I asked to PLEASE HAVE DR. PIAZZA CALL ME, this is not working. 2 months later, I still never heard from him. I just stopped going and there was no phone call of concern. they must be relieved because they CAN NOT help me. They had no problem taking my $40 co-pay and trying to sell me extra services that they offered that may help me though.

Ok but you had better not be more than two hundred pounds when you get in there. They will descend on you, signaling you out for a total fitness program and you will be put in a room where you will be subjected to at least a thirty minute intensive consultation whether you like it or not. Big turn off for me after going back there again after two years. I was shocked, embarrassed and frankly will not be returning.

The office is very clean and modern - a must for any medical office in my opinion. The staff is extremely polite and caring. They are attentive to your concerns, history, and with helping you feel better. I went in for sciatic pains and after only 2 or 3 visits felt a 100% better. X-ray machine in the office makes it convenient too. Highly recommended.
Update: I went in for another visit, neck pain this time. Went in with a 10 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest amount of pain), left with an 8 (improved, but no one is a miracle worker), woke up with a 5. The doctors worked out some knots, did the rest of their magic, spent a good amount of time with me, researched my previous visits/tests with other doctors. Going back tonight for a follow up and expect to be better by the weekend thanks to their team. I'll continue to tell everyone I know who is looking for a chiropractor/physical therapy about them.

The lead doctor Dr. John Piazza is a wonderful practioner with a great team, who makes my mom feel well both physically and mentally. He is attentive and works well with worker's comp to secure her treatments. She has told me she would never go to anyone else.

I've been a patient of NYCPT for many years, the staff and Doctors are knowledgable and very
polite. I've suffered from injuries in the past and presently. My favorite Physical Therapist is
Rushi Shahiwala. Rushi Shahiwala is very attentive, polite and knows his craft. I always feel better
after my session with Mr. Shahiwala.
