24 hr home town diner with your regular selection of fare. Club sandwich was very good. Reuben was open faced so watch out for that if it's not your thing.

Good service, good food!! Sometimes you have to wait a bit but that means they are busy! I would rather go to a busy diner than a slow one!!! That's for sure!!! From Pannini's to Reubens and from Steaks to the Specials you cant go wrong! Delicious!!

Okey well lol, the other reviews are pretty bad because they've never been here before. They recently changed ownership in 2010, and since then they really improved. You really need to talk to people to know which dishes are the best. Their menu is gigantic, and their is only a few really good dishes. I recommend any club sandwich, Panini, or hot sandwich. They have steak night on Monday, which is a good bang for your buck. My favorite is the eggplant parmesan hero, which is always superb. My friend gets the reuben hot sandwich or Panini, which he always finds great. The hot cheese fries are also very good, but may not suit everyone. Don't get meatloaf, Teriyaki chicken skewers, or whatever diarrhea inducing idea you have in mind. In response to waiting service, the Spanish folks are very nice to us in the evening. In the morning, the old ladies might be forgetful. Act like you're going to leave a huge tip and don't say anything too irrational. Walk in like the rich guy, because large groups of Nutley high school kids tend to get poor service because the wait staff knows they leave a shit tip. The Spanish folks know us, we usually leave a good tip, and the wait for our 2 sandwiches is about 5 minutes. Tea and coffee is good, and the cheesecakes are enormous and are always outstandingly delicious. It's tough to make a decision on the cheesecake flavor, and they're all very good.
