Amazing hot chocolate!

The most fantastic chocolate store of all time, ever. Go there right now, even if you live in Hawaii or Alaska. It's conveniently located by the Atlantic Ave LIRR/subway station, so you can get there from anywhere in the world. First of all, the chocolates are fabulous, and you have a great assortment... you can get ganaches, lolilops, solid chocolate bars, nibs, and lots of other choices... and they have great drinks of every variety from chai to chocolate, various coffees and even some beers.

And the staff is great, everyone from Andy and Justine on down to the blue-haired chocolatier. Uniformly, the staff is patient, kind and considerate; everyone is friendly and gracious, especially Stella the barista, who is always quick with a suggestion. And this is in the heart of NYC, so good service stands out even more!

Now if you are new.... personally I recommend the 4-piece Ganache Assortment if you've never tried it; it will give you a nice selection of flavors to try, such as raspberry, earl grey, dark and espresso.

Lapin and I came stopped by one Saturday afternoon for a sweet treat. The cozy store was empty and seemed a bit chaotic. Perhaps, they were preparing for a huge shipment because I didn't see any seating areas so we took our hot chocolate to go. The cashier was okay but didn't really engaged with us. The hot chocolate was okay, I tend to like my hot chocolates more sweet chocolate that cocoa chocolate tasting. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have sugar or whipped cream to add to the hot chocolate as well. We got a couple of boxes of chocolates, which were okay but not worth the price in my opinion.

AMAZING!!! I was given a box of these delicious gems as a thank you gift at work. not being a fan of what I thought was dark choc I was moderately generous. I gave a few of my peers two pieces each saving final 3 for self .... before I could bite into my pieces they were biding for a half of my 3rd.
perfect texture, great balance of sweet and interesting flavors that make eating a box by yourself not just warranted but expected .... a + in my book
