I have to admit, I used to be a huge fan of Nu Yu Day Spa until yesterday. The receptionist Nicki was rude, overcharged me and when she hung up the phone after clients would call for appointments, she would speak negatively about them for the clients in the salon to hear. They also steal the manicurists tips and make them buy their own tip envelopes!
My daughter who is under 10, went in for a mani and pedi. They have children pricing. I was charged the adult price. When I asked Nicki about it that day, she stated with an attitude that the price was correct. After I checked their website, I find that I was overcharged.
They REFUSED to refund me the difference, which was only $7 or so or offer any alternative. I was told, that if I do not say its for a child, even though a child shows up, I would have to pay the adult rate. Complete nonsense! The owner cosigns this thievery and would rather lose a customer who goes to her salon every 2 weeks than to give up $7.
Dont go unless you like bad customer service and getting ripped off!!!!
