I cannot wait to go back to this restaurant and I am not someone who often says that after eating out. The space is cozy, the food is beyond delicious, the service and the wine was excellent. We had the eggplant appetizer, four different pastas (two gluten free) and three deserts. Everything was awesome!

On June 5, 2015, my husband ordered a $27 pasta and I ordered a $24 pasta, plus tax, $55, but Novita charged us $133.03. Their manager Melissa told me that we paid their waiter $77 for tips, which was ridiculous. Their waiters were not available when we tried to order or to pay the bills. Melissa said this was a honest mistake. I would have gone bankrupted if every restaurant like Novita charged me double what I ordered every time...
Now neither Mellissa nor the owner is available, only an Indian guy who could hardly talk was on the phone when I called.

very enjoyable dinner on a frigid winter night. a bit crowded but unpretentious, great neighborhood vibe, and each course was delicious: calamari salad, lamb papardelle, gelato. not mindblowingly original but extremely solid.
