I have had nothing but a horrible experiences at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital. The doctors the nurses are obnoxiousnasty human beings there they're only because to collect a paycheck. I brought my mother there to the emergency room we waited one hour and 30 minutes before someone came to take any information. The doctor is a disinterested in the patients particularly if there's an elderly patient and your white. I complain to the CEO and they write back a form letter that they give the utmost care which is absolute lie. I suggest if you go to North Shore get a good malpractice attorney and sue the hospital. A word to the wise the patient transportation employees a very aggressive and confrontational and most likely recovering alcoholics or drug users Who treat the patients very roughly by slamming the gurneys stopping short slamming the gurney into the walls and other aggressive behavior.

I've been here twice; to the ER and I was seen almost immediately and got the best care ever. Really great people. The second time was to have my baby. It was the best ever at the Katz building. It's like a luxury hotel for new moms. The nurses are soooo nice and everything is so clean. If you're having a baby go here it's the best. The pictures aren't lying. Beautiful. I wanted to stay longer. They even let you have a guest stay because the rooms are private.

my mom just had a full left hip surgery and they tell my brother that they don't have enough equipment for her.

Profession at its BEST!!!

Great hospital and will provide some of the best care I seen in any facility I been to. Staff is attentive and accommodating. Hospital is very huge and broken up in different sections.
