North Broad Family Dental

HORRIBLE!!! This place is the worst of the worst. I called them asking for pricing to get a tooth pulled. They told me there was no way to know and couldn't give me an estimate. I was told the $99 deposit would go towards the fee. After waiting over an hour past my appointment time, the doctor walks in for literally 30 seconds, leaves and they tell me it will be $320. I asked the lady if that's they "standard rate" for pulls and she said yes. I asked why then couldn't they have told me when I called. I asked for a price sheet to explain what I was paying for. After waiting another 20 minutes another lady walks in and asks me, "So are you going to pay the $350 for the surgery?" I was like just a minute ago it was $320 and still no explanation of what I was paying for. So I asked how long it would take the doctor, I would assume no longer than 10 minutes. So finally the doctor comes in and I start asking what I'm paying for and his response was "Your attitude." After that I felt insulted by him and the staff and would not pay these criminals.

Oscar is great and so are the ladies at the front desk. They shouldn't be there. They genuinely care about the patients, but Dr. Plawner and the rest of the staff doesn't. They do not listen, give poor attitudes, and don't care about their patients. The good work Oscar provides doesn't get recognized and will always be overlooked by the poor service Dr. Plawner provides and allows to go on in his practice.

Over 20 years, I have worked with and observed scores of dentists . Dr. Plawner and his team provide a unique 5 star dental experience which I have rarely seen. He is a master at his craft.

Excellent service. Aeleen and the doctor there where great. I never been to this dentist but I have already been to the office a few times. excellent service I recommend this dentist to anyone who really needs a good one.

I've had some serious problems with my teeth since having Lung Cancer in 2002. Radiation and various medications have accelerated any minor health issues I had and made them major. That includes side effects from medications that weakened my teeth. After losing most of my right lung I'm now losing my upper teeth, and that’s difficult. However, North Broad Family Dental has been a Godsend since I began going there in 2009. They not only care about the health of your teeth, they care about your overall health. One of several dental problems I had was my upper bridge kept coming out because my partial pulled the bridge when I needed to remove it. Dr. Plawner repaired my bridge a few times, and I probably would have continued to get it repaired since I did not want to lose more teeth, especially in the front! The doctor was completely candid with me when he told me that they could keep repairing my bridge, get paid by both my insurance companies, and take my money. That however is not something they would do. We decided that with all my other health problems it was better for me to just get a full upper denture in 2014. I don’t like the fact that I lost most of my teeth, but after having Lung Cancer things could be much worse. It’s a Blessing to have Health Care Providers who not only ARE EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, BUT ARE HONEST WITH YOU AS WELL. I’ve seen many doctors and dentists since having cancer in 2002, some good, some REALLY BAD, and some that are a BLESSING. DR. JACOB PLAWNER AND THE ENTIRE STAFF AT NORTH BROAD FAMILY DENTAL ARE A BLESSING TO MY FAMILY AND MYSELF! I would not hesitate to recommend North Broad Family Dental (700 N.
