North Avenue Driving School

north ave driving school in bloomfield help mi so much teach mi alot and work with mi complicated schedule !! because of this school i was able to get mi license today thanks so much enrique your awesome!!!!!! and thanks to the lady in the front desk always letting mi ahead of times of what days and time for driving practice ;-)

My appointment was at 9:00AM and I got there 2 minutes before and it was closed. After waiting 10 minutes I needed to use the bathroom so I went to a bakery next door. When I got out, the guy kept acting like I was the one who was late. Even though I kept repeating to him that I waited for over 10 minutes. I paid for 2 hours and only got an hour & a half. He also had me wait for his cousin to get out the bakery to drop his cousin off which I thought was very inappropriate. Also when I called to get lessons, the lady I spoke to she said after my lesson I would get dropped off at Penn Station in Newark and I didn't.

So i was looking into getting my CDL with this school. The information they provide for the truck is no good. They tell you to look at the APEX pretrip inspection and to know it before you start the hours behind the wheel. This is totally useless since the truck they have is nowhere near like the one used on the video. They told me to go on a website to print out an example of the parts of the truck and the names of the parts. Had to pay extra for this, which should have been included with the package i bought. They offer so many hour and exam packages which shouldn't be necessary, since the training should be a little better in order to pass the first time taking the road exam. The truck they use has no nose so you can't get your hands on the actual parts you are naming and checking for the belts while doing the pre-inspection. Finally, out of 5 other people that went with me to take the dmv road test one of them who was taking the actual exam for the 4th time and the other for the 3rd time, 0 PASSED. Immediately after failing I was looking to get more hours and more practice. Later realized that i would just be throwing my money out and decided on attending another school.

Used them 2 times and regret it !! First time they showed up literally 1 min b4 my road test was due , mind you I was there 1 hr already waiting on them !! 2nd time they were on time but instructor had a student with him and when it was time to take my test instructor didn't have his license! ! REALLY turned into a whole ordeal and Isabel found it funny how I was so upset and requested a discount for my time. . I didn't receive my discount but they definitely received a shifty review for their horrible service !!

I just took my test and with only 4 hours, I passed. The instructors were cool and patient and made it seem easy to learn. They take your weakest points and work with you. I was very comfortable with them and they understood I was nervous but they help ease the tension. Would recommend to anyone who is nervous...actually would recommend to anyone who is taken the road test....THEY ARE GREAT!!! And Isabel is the best....she worked around my time frame and help me out a great deal on such short notice. Thank you guys so much.
