Nordstrom Wedding Suite - Roosevelt Field

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in retail. The wedding suite staff is completely overwhelmed and untrained. There were so many mistakes with the experience that I don't even know where to begin. My fiance took her mother there to try on mother of the bride dresses. The sales associate was late, none of the requested dresses were pulled, many of the dresses were out of stock, and the woman was completely unhelpful. A total waste of time. Then one of my friends took her bridesmaids to the wedding suite and, yet again, the ordering process was horrendous. The machines were down, the sales associates were all over the place, and it was just a terrible experience all around. What a shame.

Went to the special occasion dress department with my daughter. We found the most beautiful prom dress. We were told to wait to have it altered until a month before the prom, which we did. The seamstress RUINED the dress. It is unwearable! They did try to find another dress, but to no avail. It is now less than one week away from my daughter's prom and she does not have a dress! I would not recommed getting a dress altered here. Extremely disappointed! Not sure if I will shop here again for a special occasion dress and this definitely would make me think twice about purchasing a wedding gown from here.
