Don't let the name fool you. This is no run of the mill noodle joint. Actually, their specialty is SamGyupSal, or, Fresh pork bellies thick sliced and grilled along with steamed bean sprouts and kimchi, on a large cauldron lid. Prices were moderate for meats, with SamGyupSal and MokSal (choice sliced Boston butt) both at $22 per serving (I would estimate around 8 ounces).
Couple of days later, I took my kid for Sunday lunch, and ordered BooDae Jjigae, and Kalbi Jjim. While both were delicious, the service was just not there. We were seated immediately, but the waiter took over 10 minutes before taking our order, in a nearly empty restaurant.
There are also 2 Korean-Chinese dishes on the menu - JjamPong and Jjajangmyun - which is somewhat confusing. Overall, this restaurant is good in a pinch, but is nothing to wrote home about. Unless you are in the mood for grilled pork bellies, i would save my money and going next door to H-Mart eatery.

You want noodles? Check. You want Flowers? Check! This place literally has noodles AND flowers. Not together. That's a pretty bad combination.
One of my go to joints for black bean noodle closed down and I had to look for a new one. I am happy to say that this is my official noodle joint.
The front of the store is under renovation so you'll have ot enter from the back. That's where you can see all the flowers. Seriously... they sell flowers.
I think the joint is a bit old and woody. They could really go for a whole renovation but it isn't ugly or unappealing.
The service is pretty good. I must say though, I wish the staff was a little more fluent in english, I had the hardest time trying to convey some things. Other than that, they are pretty friendly.
Since my old noodle place shut down, I had to order the black bean noodles. I liked it. They made it just like my old place, though maybe with a little more oil and more molasses like than watery, which isn't bad, but not necessarily healthy.
I also ordered the Thick Beef Stew. My mom happens to enjoy it. She says it reminds her of her childhood. Must be one of those cultural dishes that span countries. Oh, she's Chinese.
Flowers. I think just coming out of the shop to an atmosphere of flowers is just wonderful. Nice touch.
