I come here ocassionally for state inspection or insurance photos, and they're awesome every time. Got my state inspection done at 7am after giving them a call the day before. They squeezed me in early so I wouldn't have to take any time off work! Rohon is really nice and funny too!

I went here for about 3 years, but two recent experiences have forced me to find a new mechanic. I took my car to NOK every three months/3000 miles for an oil change. Once a year I requested a full tune up. About 6 months ago, I was told the rear brakes needed to be replaced, so I replaced them. I was not told the front brakes needed to be replaced. A day or two after picked up the car, I began hearing a scraping noise and found that my front brakes were metal on metal. There was no pad left. I had them replaced immediately at the closest auto repair shop I could find in Westchester, which was where I was at the time I heard the scraping noise.

The second issue occurred this past weekend on Saturday. I drove to D.C. with my wife and two children and about 6 miles from my location, I hit a bump and basically my entire exhaust system essentially fell off. I was lucky that it happened so close to our location and that I was able to find a mechanic open on Saturday and Sunday that was able to replace the exhaust and get my back on the road and home to Brooklyn on Sunday. I was told that the entire exhaust system was rusted and that it should have been evident to anyone who was under the car in the past 6 months. Both my last two oil changes were at NOK and occurred within the past 6 months.

The owner is a nice man and very pleasant, but I need a mechanic that will not strand me by the side of the road again. I've been lucky that the muffler didn't fall off on 95 in Delaware or the BQE.

Was coming here for a while without issue, but needed to get an inspection and was told I needed to "update the computer system at the dealership" to pass. Dealership said they had never heard of needing to do that, but did it anyway at my request at a cost of $500. Still didn't pass. $2000 later I finally got my sticker, not coming back.

I’ve been going to Nok Auto for over 20 Years and 5 different cars. The service, quality of the work and owner Rohon have always been outstanding.
