Noho Star

I have lived in this city for 13 years and I visited this place for the first time on a early Sunday evening. Buuuuuttttttt, the results were very disappointing. The main issue that I had with this place was the bartender, who said that I was speaking "too loudly". For the amount of people that were at the restaurant the place already was fairly loud. The bartender said that I was "too loud" or rather the manager said that I was being too loud. Funny, when we asked to speak to this so called manager who was giving the order that I was too loud, no manager showed up. As someone who has visited quite a few bars in NYC over the past 13 years, it is easy to find a manager to take care of a customer's complaint.

Whatever, I guess this place always will be just a fixture on Fafayette St.

I go to Noho Star often... They have a wonderful appetizer that has a potato pancake, tuna, and other lovely ingredients. Yummy... Along with a great cosmopolitan... If non-alcohol is you preference, their Ginger Ale is Divine..

Price points are solid for entrees. Don't get the mimosa, it's pulpy. Love the menu options - very classic. Ambience and decor are great and not too over the top. Will be back for brunch but will take advance of the lovely outside seating when it's warmer. Hostess and wait staff extremely pleasant.

Excellent burgers. I don't like fries but theirs are very good. Great service. Clean, bright, lovely setting. Fairly priced for a city restaurant. Family friendly.

Friendly staff. Interesting menu. Good service. Delicious food. I met a business colleague here for a business dinner. We were on the early side, so there was no problem getting a table.

Meatloaf was superb. Elevated. The indian pudding for dessert was excellent.
