We went to this place because it came as a recommendation and all the google reviews were 4 & 5. We were in search of good Empanadas. Yes it's Friday night and crowded so we expected poor parking. *** The wait was to be 40 min but because we were 3 it was 25 min tahts a **** . Our table was at the top of the bathroom stairs and all I could smell the entire meal was the overpowering odor of urinal cakes. That's a * The entire meal people slipped by the 10 inches behind me to get to the restroom. A waitress even lifted a high chair over our heads during dinner oh an then squeezed by. * The waiter was very friendly polite and the service was very fast considering the crowd. ***** Music was nice but, the volume was way too loud mainly because the room was packed beyond. You had to find a path between tables to get out. Yes they seem to have big portions but its all thin cheap cuts spread out on large plates with lots of sauce & starch! ** The steak was all fat, a popular but (a poor cut-flank steak). * The flounder was gross, thankfully I had them put the sauce on the side.* Sides were plain white rice, boiled potatoes & french fries like from a pizzeria. Veggies were ok. The chicken & veggie rice was so yellow it looked fake and tasted like Chinese food. Plantains way too greasy to eat. The worst was the empanada. We ordered small beef ones as appetizer. They tasted like frozen ones. It said beef but inside was bean like mush. When we asked do you have large ones with meat he said yes they are not listed o the menu and proceeded to bring us a larger one with the same disgusting whatever inside of it. I can't imagine people eating like this on a regular bases. $73. for 3 people including tip what a waste. Should have went to Lina's in Riverdale Literally some of the worst food we have ever eaten!! Bummer of a birthday :0(

Very lively place. On Saturday nights they have a singer who performs karaoke-style
Latin music. The wait to get a table can be long (30 minutes) on the weekend, but it's worth it. The prices are very reasonable, the Sangrias are tasty, and the food is good.

Great food and they give you lots of it! The empanadas and pan de bonos are my favorite from the bakery. The Bandeja paisa is my go to for my meal. I love this location because there's tons of space and parking.
