NJ Home Inspection Engineers

This is the third home I have bought and I have had three different home inspectors so I can compare. Without a doubt they were the best! Lots of information with no punches pulled. The good bad and the ugly. I ended up not buying this home because of the structural defects found. I will use them again and hope that the next home gets a better report.

Do not get caught by their engineering marketing advertisement. Not saying they aren't engineers. But that is about it. Had inspection with Ron Meyer, and altough he is patient and explains a lot of things in details, he MISSED a LOT of huge things at my house. For instance, he missed there were issues w/ the first floor ceiling (a painter was the one who told me - after I bought the house of course). Missed mold at the basement (a handyman showed me right away when he went to the basement for something else). Missed electric malfunctions ...he even missed simple things like: the dryer rotate the clothes but do not release heat, so it does not work properly! .... Had great expectatives, but I am somewhat disappointed overall.
