After not being to a dentist for 10 years, I experienced pain from a wisdom tooth that was in such bad shape that it had to be pulled soon. I googled for a Dentist near me and finally found one that accepted my insurance and sounded professional, compassionate, and like people with good integrity on the phone. When I called Ninth Avenue Dental at a late hour just as they were closing, the staff took the time to hear my urgency and to attempt to find a time slot for me as soon as possible the next morning . When I arrived I felt very welcomed and comfortable, everyone there seems to work together harmoniously, like family, to make sure their patients are happy. When I met the Doctor, he turned out to be a very warm, friendly, and made me feel confident that he knew how to take care of the situation concerning ALL my teeth as he examined me. But it was apparent the wisdom tooth needed to be extracted and he was able to do it right away. A painful and dragged out procedure seemed to go smoother than I expected, - and I'm a terrible dental patient, always frightened of these things! Later that evening they even called me to make sure I was fine and that I understood how to follow the post oral surgery instructions and that I was taking my meds. I know I made the right choice! I am very happy with Ninth Avenue Dental.

Ninth Ave Dental is a scam. I went there with a terrible pain in my upper pre-molar and wanted it pulled out. The doctor plainly refused to pull it out and suggested a root canal instead (remember that a root canal costs more) and said I'd need to wait 3 weeks to hear back from the insurance on what it would cost. She then proceeded to fix two of my lower teeth that hadn't given me any trouble.
After an extended drilling and filling session (over which the doctor chatted with her assistant about a party on a boat with a hypnotist as the entertainment), I returned home with my pre-molar still in unbearable pain, two fillings in teeth that didn't need any fixing and a prescription for Ibuprofen that I already had in my medicine cabinet.
