I bought my kitchen from there, the price is great and I picked up my cabinet the following day.
There were no problems what so ever with my cabinets and I got a very good deal on the price. I recommended this place to my sister and to my parents and They bought the cherry rope cabinet from there. They were very happy as well.

when I first came in to newark hardware the gentleman was very polite and professional. When I ordered my cabinets and counter tops he wanted payment in full,(in cash only) before he would place my order with the manufacturer. He promised delivery within 2 weeks to coincide with other work I was having done in my home. He was 15 days late and when the cabinets came they were missing the counter tops. The base cabinets were poorly assembled and the bottom edge along the front of the cabinet was longer than the side of the cabinet by an 1nch and a half. so it sticks out and looks horrible. The wall cabinets were also very shoddy and I had to purchase extra ell braclets to attach the back wall to the sides because 1 of the sections was only halfway assembled. When the counter tops finally arrived (after 2 more weeks)I had to pick them up myself (after paying $45 for delivery) and 1 section was scratched deeply. I refused to accept it and he was agreeable right away to replace it. 3 weeks later he finally said it was ready and that I could pick it up at the warehouse in belleville. When I picked it up and got home I went to install it and realized that it was too large and did not fit. I took it back and out of frustration took the origional scratched counter and installed it. To sum up my experience, It took an additional 7 weeks for this guy to provide me with 3 wall cabinets, 2 base cabinets and 2 counter tops,during which time my kitchen was torn apart and unusable. I will never purchase another item from this establishment!!!

i bought my kitchen and counter top from newark hardware and supply and it was a horrible experience. it took too long to get my kitchen cabinets, the design was wrong so i had to modify it and lose my dishwasher and change cabinet sizes. the counter top company took two weeks to get my counter installed after changing the prices on me and forcing me to chnage the color that i picked. at the end after all the aggravation the owner scammed me for $150 since i over paid for the counter and he refunded me only a portion of wha i have should have returned. don't ever buy anthing from this store. scammer and very bad attiutde
