Found out the issues and fixed them at an appropriate price. I've been here severally times without problem. it's pretty busy here so there might be a wait but it's definitely worth it. I've have engine and brake work done here.

Bad experience first and last time. When to this placed , to check my ac. Before of that I replaced the engine of my car. So my ac of course don't have any freon on the sister of course. When I get there a guy called Steve made a diagnostic on my ac sistem. And he said that my car need a new ac low presure hose. So after put the machine for check for any leaks machine don't detect anything wrong. He start to mess with the valve of the hose telling me it was bad. he take back all the gas . I went to my friend that he a honest mechanic. And surprised no leaks nothing. When back Monday morning and explain to the manager what's going on. He refused to return my money. I told him that if not return my money they are stealing from me. He called another of his employees check the car and tell him that he doesn't see anything wrong. Big scamers don't recommend this place stay away they are thieves .

Update to my review below!! I went back today, ten days after my visit I describe below. This time with my wife's car -- a Mercedes GL -- with a slow leak. Jesse and his team remembered be and thanked me for the review below. They took the car in, found a simple nail puncture that needed a patch. They patched it and had me on my way. I won't tell you what they charged me -- let's just say that these guys understand how to delight a customer and cement a relationship. Any issue -- ANY issue -- I have with either my Porsche or my Mercedes, I'm bringing it back here. It can take you a lifetime to find a service shop you can truly trust -- well, I've only been in NYC three years, and I've found mine.

Here is my previous review:

I found Newark Car Care from it's google+ reviews so I knew it was going to be good. But, I was not ready for exactly HOW good it is. I took my Porsche 911 in to change out all my tires. Jesse ordered my tires a day in advance of my coming in (without charging my card -- he took the risk I wouldn't show). When I came in and he saw that my rear wheels were non-standard and that he had the wrong tires for the job, he sent one of his guys to the warehouse to get four new matching tires of the right size. Within an hour, they were on and looking great. But what was really special is how honest a business man Jesse is. An honest mistake in tire size cost him more money, but he stuck with his original quote and ate the difference himself. I offered to pay him for the difference because it was really my mistake for not knowing my wheel size, but he wouldn't take my money. Then, even better, I showed him a check engine light that my Manhattan Porsche dealer wanted to spend $3000 fixing. Jesse knew the problem -- a dirty oxygen sensor. He fixed it for free. Are you kidding me? If I had gone to Manhattan Porsche I would have been charged $5,000 for the tire change and oxygen sensor. Instead, Jesse rings me up for a little over $1,000. I couldn't be happier than to find an honest business man in the Newark tire changing industry. You're the real deal, Jess. Thanks.

I went in for an oil change and being a woman to a new place I was a little nervous of being taken advantage of, but to my surprise I was given a copy of the manufactures recommendations for my car and I was shown the condition of my engine air filter. Even I could see that it was dirty and needed to be changed. There was no pressure or pushing services on me and I was very happy with the service that I received. I will definitely be back to have my car worked on here. I also liked the fact that the service was quick and I was in and out pretty quickly.
