Only ride if you want to pay over $100 for a 20 minute ride and almost die 5 times along the way. Your driver will be sure to drive on not only the right shoulder cutting through traffic but also the left. Then ask for a tip.

I rode a taxi (#221) from Newark Airport and the fixed fee from the airport guy was $59. Then the driver told me that with the toll and tip would be $86. I said OK. Then when I was close to my hotel, the driver told me it is $120. I said, it started from $59, then he said "I need to charge for the round trip". What a rip in NJ.

We took a taxi from the airport to NY, 42. Street. First, a man in a cabine told us the price with 75 USD. Than, the driver in the taxi gave us the information, with toll it costs 98 USD. We accepted and asked him, if 98 USD is the endprice - okay! We arrived at our hotel (The Westin) and the driver said to us, with tip it is 125 USD. From 75 USD up to 125 USD - what a start in the USA!!!! WELCOME!
