New York Water Taxi

We bought tickets through an explorer pass, and came to use them today. Most boats are so full that there can be an hour wait to get on. Ok, fine, it's NYE. However, if it's so overcrowded, I'm not sure why they are still selling tickets. I've been waiting at this particular slip for twenty minutes, and they have sold nearly thirty tickets. Not redeemed tickets from prepaid passes. Sold thirty tickets to new customers. They are doing nothing to alleviate the overcrowding, and just keep selling more and more tickets.

My wife and I loved the tour. I recommend scheduling this trip for your whole day because there is a lot to do between Liberty Island & Ellis Island. Both tours were great and it was a great time!

It was a nightmare working there... the managers talk to you any kind of way.. Co workers was rude to customers and discriminated against customers who was different nationalities even managers.. I'm from the South my mother always taught me to see no colors love one another no matter what color or nationality we all bleed the same color. So I QUIT..I couldn't be apart of that organization.

This sucks , they lied to us about the time it was going to be there at and kept pushing off telling us when it was going to be there. It was a supreme waste of time. DO NOT GO ON IT

We had a great time and did get to see the highlights of the NYC sights.
Our tour guide was Jim.... great sense of humor and very knowledgeable of NY and it's history.
Patrick, the boat guide also made the trip very enjoyable.
It was well worth the $120 for a day's trip.
Don't buy the 9/11 museum tickets for the same day; there is not enough time to walk through it and make it back to the ferry before the end of the day.
This tour does not let you get onto Ellis Island or Liberty Island but the boat does drive up pretty close to it and is worth the trip.
Just be aware, once the tour is over, it drops you off back at the pier near Air/Space Museum and you are on your own to find transportation back to your hotel.

Just don't laminate your tickets like I did..... It throws them out of harmony with the universe!
