Did a wine class here. Class was OK. For the price I expected more. The space for class was shared w an artist who, during middle of class walked through the room to gather his utensils. It was distracting to stop class and have him do that during class. Also most of the wines that were presented were not spectacular wines. All of them were good but none of them wowed any one at the class.

Just wonderful! Fabulous and delicious. My friend and I took a wine class yesterday (Rare Reds) and had such a great time. I was very impressed with the quality of the class and the wines. The wine educator shared so much information about each wine, the origin, the varietals, the vineyards, etc. The fact that they have a kitchen to pair things with the wines and classes makes it even better. I've been to others where I felt like I barely got to taste the wine and I was paying to subversively be sold to. Not the case here. I'd highly recommend New York Vintners for a date, for friends, for groups, and for people of all levels of wine knowledge.

Lapin and I came here for the "Intro to Sparkling Wine" on a Saturday afternoon. Our hosts were energetic, engaging, funny, and down to earth. The class was fun and very informative, but I had way too much (I am a light drinker) to actually remember anything and a serious case of the giggles and the hiccups. The class was mid-size, around 20 people who were all for the most part very friendly.
I been to a couple of wine tasting classes but this was the first one where the tables were decorated very beautifully. And, the best part, depending on which class you sign up for, there might be a meal or in our case small nuts, cheese/crackers and quinoa salad to enjoy with your wine. Any participant can tell much care was put into the presentation, information, and making sure guests have a good time.
P.S. We paid the full retail value of the class($75 each) but when I mentioned it to a couple of friends, they were able to find vouchers. If we come across a voucher, we will definitely be up for trying the other classes.
