New York University: Walker Danielle M MD

I believe Doctor Walker has moved to California, which is our loss here in New York. I am M/42 who just got health insurance 2 years ago. Dr. Walker was the first doctor I had seen outside of an emergency room in probably 20 years. I had heard all the news reports about how doctors had no time to spend with patients, etc. I basically just wanted to get in and out, a quick physical, but Dr. Walker sat me down, poked, prodded and quizzed me for about 20 minutes, going over my entire history, family history, etc. in a completely non-judgmental way, which was important to me. I work in construction and have some depression issues, so I have a lot of "history" to go over. She is not pill-happy, which is a plus in my book. I really could not recommend her highly enough, and am frankly a bit angry she left, considering how much I hate going to the Doctor in general, heh.
