New York Public Library - Stephen A. Schwarzman Building

Are you kidding me? This library is horrible... 1. This library is located in the most expensive borough in New York but their computers are older then hyroglyphics. 2. Alot of the staff members are rude (especially alot of the security guards. 3. This Library closes way too early. 4. You dont get enough time on the computer. 5. There arent enough plugs to charge your phones. Queens Library is much better.

Unbelievably beautiful library, that deserves the historic landmark distinction. The outside is incredible the every room inside in more amazing the the last. Worth a spot by. I just wish I could so some studying in one of the quiet rooms!

Housed in an architectural masterpiece, The New York Public Library is one of the most amazing historical landmark I’ve visited. The interior of the NYPL is even more amazing! The grand staircase here leads into a grander lobby and even more opulent reading rooms.

Reading rooms at the New York Public Library are amazing. But I do notice overabundant camera clicking is frowned upon. Some rooms, especially the Rose Main Reading Room that often sets a scene in movies, photography is not permitted altogether. Which isn’t a bad thing. Gives you more time to look up, enjoy the beautiful interior and soak in the culture.
