This is one of the rare times i will/ have left a review, but i feel a need to forewarn future contractors/ owners/ developers of this disaster of a service.. I wish they had an option for no stars, but one it will have to be.
I contracted NY Gypsum Floors to do work on a very sizable job in North Williamsburg. Meeting with their rep initially, he came off very professional, gave us a very sure and confident pitch, insuring us all work would be done in a responsible and TIMELY fashion.
Since then it has been a nightmare.
- Not one timeline was met.
- The office, ownership and company as a whole is impossible to reach.
- Lack of communication/ response
- Rude or blatant lies regarding timelines and man power
- No one to talk to if an issue arises
- Total disregard for customers concerns
- Horrible customer service
- Make no effort to accommodate or correct their issues.
I will now have to hire another contractor to complete the job.
(When i spoke to said new contractor, with whom i have done work with in the past, he guessed exactly who had dropped the ball, and informed me they are doing a ton of pick up all around the city, behind NY Gypsum)
