This place shouldn't even get 1 star the way they treat people even when you call for info you feel the bad vibe over the phone if you want to feel what hell feels like or want to go to hell just go there and ask question and see your soul runaway from your body.

This building and the people in it is the worst, no one wants to do there job they just want you to keep coming back so that the city can get paid, if you have no lawyer you are more screwed than the moment you step in the building, on top of everything else the judge as no respect if you have proof you where doing the right thing it as no credibility if you don't go in there as a man that as full (full) custody of your children you are simply a dead man walking. Sadest part of it all they say it's about and for the children but no one truly is....it's all about the money. There very few that look on it as for the children and your better off hitting the lotto, best luck.

Goood place

Horrific animals running the system in NYC. Careless, lack compassion, Judges do not look at history of cases, they only see you as a number, or a file. You are an object to them to be moved from one place to another regardless of innocence. Innocence does not matter. They will throw you in Jail for crimes you have not committed if a woman makes a statement against you, all the judges care about is themselves. They will deny you your rights, and if I you cant afford a lawyer one will not be appointed for you simply because it is family court not criminal court, yet they will put you in jail regardless. NYC Judges are the most unsympathetic to men. They care more for their jobs and if it means leaving you no choices but frustion and anger so be it. They care about their paychecks not you. YOU are expendable to them. FACT
