New York City Siamese Rescue

Completely unprofessional behavior. Staff clearly have little to no knowledge about cats, nor do they seem knowledgeable about dogs. Only interested in insulting owners. Do not rescue from them, this is a poorly run rescue, with very unprofessional, rude staff.

This rescue is biased about what kind of dogs they put their cats with. They are also very rude and nasty when they respond to you if you own a husky. I own four huskies, two westies and now six siamese and part siamese cats and kittens. One kitten I adopted from the Siamese Cat Rescue Center that was an absolute pleasure to work with. My Quincy fit in with all my dogs perfectly and sleeps with me or on top of them. My cats love to sleep on top of my youngest husky because she puts off a lot of heat, This rescue assumes that all huskies are alike and will kill a cat or kitten. Not if they were raised with them or have a low prey drive. My 15 yr old cat rules my household and my dogs are all afraid of her. I am reviewing this on behalf of my friend Mary who posted all the nastiness that she received from this rescue for trying to apply to adopt when she owns a husky. They will know who they are who continually told her that huskies will kill cats and they know who she is. If you have any kind of dog I would not even attempt to adopt from this rescue. I would go through the Siamese Cat Rescue and have a pleasant time in adopting a Siamese from them with no nastiness at all from any one there.
