New York City Police Department - 45th Precinct

As a previous post from another woman mentioned agree 100% horrible response time if ANY. I literally live 2 blocks away and police NEVER showed. Needs improvement

Called 911 due to a domestic violence issue they never showed. After 2 hours of waiting at a neighbors house with my children I gave up waiting the police officers to arrive. The Precinct decides to call me at 12:00am which at that point I could have been left for dead for all they know. To think I called 911 and wasn't taken seriously by this Precinct scares me for other DV victims.

Worst police station I've every seen: bunch of racists, feeling very comfortable harassing white people right inside their precinct, not responding to 911 calls, ignoring crimes while driving right by - and all that is just what they do at the bright daylight. Maybe it's time for NYC Commissioner to pay his attention to what is going on in his department!

I had a 2013 Honda Accord. I replaced the DRL with an aftermarket upgrade. Now, anyone traveling back and forth from Queens and the Bronx knows the 45th Precinct handles the Whitestone Bridge. In short, at the toll the officer made me pull across 10 lanes while I waited for him to approach. He asked if I was a firefighter, I said No. Then he asked if I was EMS. Again I said no. He said my DRL's are blue and I cannot have them. He then took my license and registration while I waited for 10 minutes.
When he returned. his exact words were; "I decided to give you a ticket" . Eighty Five dollars worth.
IMO he was a wise guy in the manner he asked if I was EMS. Secondly, I have all the respect for our men in blue, but this office showed no respect to this citizen his mannerisms and delivery.

I am truly trying to understand people and their authority and the NUTS they hire to enforce the law. I never had an issue with NYPD, and I've often commended them for evening having the guts to do what they do-- until this evening.. While having company,my guest waiting patiently-i must add, as my neighborhood does NOT have public parking--parking is insane and has been on the News for the situation--while waiting for parking a cop drives up behind him and issues a ticket for DOUBLE PARKING!!! I call the precinct and an officer named Mrs. Morning says, he was correct with issuing a ticket-just because there's NO parking available it's STILL AGAINST THE LAW TO DOUBLE PARK,and if you've lived there over 20 years and always waited for parking then you've been giving a courtesy of the past 20 years!! REALLY??? :( I'm going to every single outlet available to me, for voice my complaint---IF THIS ISN'T HARASSMENT then I really need someone to teach me what is. My hard earn TAXES is NOT paying for this abuse of AUTHORITY! :(
