I currently live in Clinton Houses NYCHA and I called the office to speak about a No Hot water issue. This happens very often at our apartment. Every 2 weeks approximately. The part that upsets me is that we are not being notified about this beforehand. The desk attendant has told me to call the maintenance phone number to request a ticket number to report it. I am trying to tell her that i have done this before several times when my father and I are having this problem and no one has come to help us with our situation. But she disregards this and does not listen or give me an explanation. She has me on hold for 10 minutes and 20 seconds so far but i do not expect to be attended. And we have much bigger concerns about our apartment. Unfinished wall painting in bathroom and apartment hallway. We also have leak coming from under our tiles which causes the layer of tiles to be soaked in water and eventually dissembling. Many holes in our apartment that leads to mice and roaches. Roaches are the size of a pinky finger . Our apartment is in terrible and condition and we are reconsidering transferring to another building.
